Conferencing / broadcasting
SMC facilitates viewing of surgery with audio conferencing for clinical discussion between specialists. This also suits teaching hospitals for connecting and viewing surgery live with zero cross infection from the classrooms.
Work simplified
SMC records ‘Live’ surgical procedures at the click of a button from a Windows based PC or a dedicated control unit mounted on the Boom monitor. SMC unit will connect to multiple Medical devices in your surgical environment to create an on-the-go recording solution to be centrally stored without the need of tapes, discs, cables or extra crew in your Operation Room.
Anywhere and everywhere
Getting your image to your desktop or to your conference room is possible both live and as stored data. From the remote SMC server the user has access to all the recorded material from his or her desktop PC through the use of the SMC client software. No limits to such access.

Being vendor independent
SMC gives you the option of having different brands and systems in the Operation Room environment, thus allowing you to purchase any brand of equipment which you need. SMC will complement all current and future modalities. A workflow of your choice is in your hand.
Push image system
The Recorded material can be reviewed, edited and exported to central storage. A customized report or a surgical note can be added to create a Registry. Most features of the system are configurable to comply with Hospital’s requirement and is available in DICOM format for ‘Push’ to PACS or HIS.
Image management
SMC will also let you manage your Image sources inside the room. You may connect additional screens of your choice to the unit and route images and video to be viewed inside and outside the OR environment. Centralized ‘Mega view’ offers better viewing of multiple devices.
Case management
Multiple OR schedule and patient data can be keyed and distributed electronically to ensure proper documentation of patient vs. Operation Rooms.
True picture
The digital compression used within the system is specialized in emphasizing even the smallest details. With the right camera or image source SMC reproduces ‘true to original’ recordings in and also supports all major formats in SD and HD.
Digital library
Create your own digital library and use SMC as an e-learning tool for surgical educational purposes that can be accessed from any computer running the software.
